      Summary

      The LPN is responsible for clinically and clerically supporting the physician and other staff members in the delivery of quality patient care, following established standards and procedures. Provides quality clinical care to our patients in various locations as assigned. Assists practitioners with patient care in an efficient and professional manner. Screens the health status of the patient under the direction of the physician. Triages patient phone calls. Documents medical information accurately and appropriately. Understands front office procedures. Ensures regulatory compliance. Maintains clinical equipment and supplies. Maintains professional accountability and responsibility. Provides age-appropriate care. Adheres to organizational policy and procedure. Adheres to the "Patient First" philosophy. This role includes Protected Health Information (PHI) as part of regular responsibilities.

      Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

      Completion of an accredited School of Practical Nursing

      Required Length and Type of Experience

      • A minimum of one year of experience as an LPN in a primary care office, hospital, or urgent care center is preferred.
      • Basic computer skills
      • Excellent customer interaction skills

      Required Licensure or Certification

      • Current Ohio Nursing license, certified to dispense drugs
      • Current BLS certification
