      Job Title: Machine OperatorJob Description

      Join a growing company in the semiconductor industry as a Machine Operator. This entry-level position is on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 2:30 pm. The role involves working both inside and outside the cleanroom environment. As a Machine Operator, you will be manufacturing gas weldments for gas panels and operating an orbital welding machine. This machine is straightforward to operate, requiring you to set up small weldment pieces and initiate the process. You will also conduct mechanical inspections post-machine operation and operate a saw for tube cutting outside the cleanroom.

      Responsibilities
      • Set up and operate machinery for manufacturing gas weldments.
      • Conduct mechanical inspections on pieces after machine operation.
      • Operate an orbital welding machine and perform basic quality checks.
      • Read and interpret prints and use measuring devices like calipers and high gauges.
      • Perform Asymmetric Views Rolling, with training provided if necessary.
      Essential Skills
      • 1+ year of recent experience in a manufacturing role, preferably machine operating or quality inspections.
      • Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools.
      • Ability to read prints and work orders.
      • Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers and high gauges.
      • Verified reliability.
      Additional Skills & Qualifications
      • High School diploma or equivalent.
      • Mechanical inclination.
      • Willingness to work occasional Saturdays and potential 2nd shift in the future.

      Work Environment

      The position is located at 200 Parker Drive, #600, 78728. You will be working within the weldments department alongside a team of 10-15 people. The role involves working in a clean room, requiring comfort with wearing smocks. This position is currently on the 1st shift, from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential future shifts and occasional Saturdays.

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
