- Performance Analytics & Insights
- Deliver monthly customer performance summaries with competitive benchmarking and strategic recommendations
- Maintain and enhance sales dashboards (quarterly reviews for relevance)
- Inventory & Demand Planning
- Monitor bi-weekly inventory levels and stock-out risks
- Produce monthly 3-month rolling forecasts by city/SKU
- Insights & Problem-Solving
- Conduct weekly analysis on sales trends and competitive share movements
- Generate root cause analysis with actionable business recommendations
- Product & Category Tracking
- Track weekly NPD launches and competitive benchmarking metrics
- Data Quality & Process Improvement
- Ensure data accuracy across systems and documentation
- Partner with teams to identify automation and workflow improvements
- Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, data modeling , dashboards)
- BI tools like Power BI
- Ability to extract and transform data across multiple systems
- Understanding of demand forecasting and seasonality
- Business Knowledge
- E-commerce/ CPG/FMCG experience (preferred)
- Sales/channel operations background
- Ability to design relevant business metrics (offtake, inventory, market share, ROI)
- Interpersonal Skills
- Cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, customers)
- Clear communication of data insights to non-technical audiences
- Attention to detail and process discipline
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously (daily, weekly, monthly, ad-hoc requests) .
- 7 -10 yrs insights / analytics
- Delivers results with sharp planning and follow-through
- Data-driven problem solver who generates actionable business recommendations
- Storytelling – Translates complex data into clear, compelling narratives
- Collaborates effectively across teams and senior leadership
- Ability to navigate organizational complexities

OverviewThis Sales Operations role serves as the analytical backbone for PepsiCo India’s Foods and Beverages e-commerce operations. The incumbent will own end-to-end sales reporting, customer performance analytics, inventory management, and forecasting for both category portfolios, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role bridges the gap between raw customer transaction data and actionable business insights, translating complex retail analytics into strategic narratives that drive sales performance, inventory optimization, and category growth in the competitive e-commerce landscape.
