      We are currently hiring for the position of:


      MANAGER, MARKET ACCREDITATION & SERVICES

      The Manager, Market Accreditation and Services is responsible for the delivery of TIFF The Market’s accreditation vertical and customer relations for attending delegates, ensuring a high functioning, equitable and professionally minded experience for the global industry. Reporting to the Director, Market Experience, this role leads the execution of accreditation strategy and policy, oversees systems and workflows that support accreditation sales and delegate access and manages key stakeholder relationships connecting to delegate participation.

      The role plays a critical function in supporting revenue performance and growth through effective accreditation delivery, attendance cultivation and data-informed reporting. It supports strong governance, data integrity and services standards across all delegate facing processes. The position manages a seasonal servicing team and is a key customer escalation point for the duration of the market.



      RESPONSIBILITIES:


      Accreditation Operations

      • Manage end-to-end accreditation processes, including applications, eligibility enforcement, approvals, payments, pass fulfillment, and issue resolution.

      • Act as the operational authority on accreditation policies, ensuring consistent interpretation and enforcement across internal and external stakeholders.

      • Identify workflow gaps, operational risks, and inefficiencies; recommend improvements to strengthen governance, service delivery, and delegate experience.

      • Support departmental attendance and revenue goals through effective accreditation management and data-driven insights.


      Revenue and Attendance Growth

      • Monitor pass sales and participation trends, generating regular reports and insights for leadership decision-making.

      • Partner with leadership to achieve revenue targets and drive attendance growth.


      Systems Management

      • Maintain and optimize the accreditation portal and database, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and adherence to governance.

      • Develop, document, and enforce operational workflows for staff.

      • Collaborate with TIFF’s IT and external vendors to implement and configure systems aligned with operational requirements.


      Stakeholder Relationship Management

      • Manage relationships with industry delegations, agencies, studios, distributors, and community partners.

      • Oversee pass allocation, eligibility, and fulfillment of partner commitments.

      • Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding accreditation processes and access.


      Escalation and Onsite Servicing

      • Act as the primary escalation point for complex accreditation and delegate service issues.

      • Liaise with onsite market teams to resolve in-person inquiries and ensure accurate delivery of pass benefits.


      Team Leadership

      • Recruit, onboard, train, and manage a seasonal team of 4–6 staff, ensuring clarity of roles and consistency in service delivery.

      • Develop operational documentation, training materials, and workflows to support team effectiveness and scalability.

      • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management for the seasonal team.


      Evaluation & Continuous

      • Lead post-market reporting, documenting outcomes, risks, lessons learned, and recommendations for future cycles.

      • Use data, team feedback, and stakeholder input to improve systems, workflows, and service standards.


      JOB GRADE & SALARY:

      • Job Grade Salary Range/Annually: $60,000-$71,000 CAD

      • Our salary ranges reflect the range of skills and experience required for the role. Typically, candidates new to the role are positioned up to the midpoint of the range, with progression through the range based on performance and development over time. The top of the salary band is for employees who consistently demonstrate high performance in their role.


      TARGET CONTRACT DATES:

      • February 23rd, 2026


      WORK LOCATION:

      • Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5

      • Weekly in-office requirements:

        • Minimum 2 days (November to April)

        • Minimum 3 days (May to October)

      • Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival


      MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

      • Degree in arts management, Media Studies or Cultural Administration or related field preferred

      • Minimum 5 years’ experience working within Canadian and International screen based Industries or adjacent cultural sectors

      • Minimum 3 years’ experience leading or supervising project based or seasonal teams with demonstrative ability to train, delegation and support performance under time sensitive conditions

      • Minimum 3 years experience working with CRM/CMS including responsibility for data accuracy, workflows and system based processes

      • Experience managing complex operational processes such as accreditation, registration, customer relations or comparable access based programmes strongly preferred.
