      Position Summary

      The Manager, Talent Acquisition manages full‑lifecycle recruiting and oversees a team of professional recruiters, HR specialists, and assistants responsible for executing the organization’s recruiting strategy and employer brand. This role ensures effective coordination, planning, and evaluation of the talent pipeline, with a strong focus on sourcing and recruiting qualified candidates.

      The Manager builds organizational capability by leading the recruiting team in executing workforce plans and the overall talent strategy, while managing staff, workflow, operations, and departmental budget. This leader develops team members by setting expectations and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.

      Essential Functions

      • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, qualifying, scheduling, managing the feedback process, negotiating, and closing offers
      • Develop creative and effective sourcing strategies, including internet sourcing, social strategies, employee referrals, and networking events
      • Create recruiting metrics and leverage data for strategic analysis of recruiting processes
      • Model a strong candidate experience through clear communication and representation of the organization’s brand, mission, values, and patient care philosophy
      • Partner with leadership to identify and improve talent acquisition processes, including the use of technology‑based solutions
      • Lead executive‑level and complex recruiting assignments as needed
      • Establish goals and work priorities for recruiting team members
      • Develop and manage the departmental budget
      • Partner closely with hiring departments and compensation to extend offers of employment
      • Address customer service or policy issues to minimize escalation to senior leadership
      • Build relationships with state, federal, collegiate, and professional placement organizations to source qualified candidates
      • Represent the organization at job fairs, professional conferences, and recruiting events
      • Provide work direction to support staff to ensure departmental objectives are met
      • Collaborate with HR and operational leaders on retention, engagement, employee relations, and culture initiatives
      • Develop annual operating goals and ensure accountability for execution of plans and change initiatives
      • Articulate the value of talent acquisition and talent management technology
      • Participate in or conduct exit interviews to identify trends
      • Manage personnel functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions
      • Maintain compliance with all organizational policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations

      • Participate in general HR and corporate initiatives
      • Build positive working relationships with internal customers
      • Serve on or lead cross‑functional teams as needed
      • Demonstrate strong facilitation, presentation, communication, and conflict‑management skills
      • Exhibit strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, and prioritization skills
      • Support other HR functions and departments on an as‑needed basis

      Education & Experience

      • Bachelor’s degree required
      • Five (5) years of interactive HR experience
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
      • Experience working with talent acquisition systems required
