      Manufacturing Tech - CNC Machine Operator - $21.75 - 23.25/hr

      Job Description

      We are seeking CNC Machine Operators to operate and support CNC machining centers. This role involves setup, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting of machinery. The candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading raw materials and finished parts, monitoring multiple machines, and adjusting tools to meet production specifications.

      Responsibilities

      • Operate and support CNC machining centers, including setup and monitoring.
      • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts into and out of CNC machines.
      • Monitor multiple machines simultaneously to ensure continuous and efficient operation.
      • Change and adjust machine tools as needed to meet production specifications.
      • Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
      • Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
      • Interpret and work from technical blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure parts meet exact specifications.

      Essential Skills

      • Experience with CNC, lathe, and machining operation.
      • Proficiency in using measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
      • Basic mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience.
      • Ability to perform quality checks and inspections.
      • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
      • Ability to stand for long periods.
      • Must be open to working any shift.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience in machine operation and maintenance.
      • Knowledge of hand and power tools.
      • Ability to interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
      • Basic math skills for precise measurements.

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Black Creek, GA.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $21.75 - $23.25/hr.
