      MARKETING CONTENT SPECIALIST


      Overview


      The Marketing Content Specialist is the creative connector who brings the Lowlands Group brands to life everywhere guests experience them, both online and in-person. This role develops engaging content, designs visuals, and executes ideas that shape how guests connect with the Lowlands Group family of brands across digital, social, and physical touchpoints. From crafting social campaigns and managing digital ads to refining the look and feel of in-store environments, the Marketing Content Specialist blends creativity, community connection, and hospitality storytelling in every detail. Reporting to the Chief Creative Officer, this position ensures brand consistency, creative excellence, and a sense of gezellig in every guest interaction.


      Core Responsibilities

      Digital Content, UGC, and Paid Advertising

      • Create, schedule, and publish social media content across all channels.
      • Capture and edit photography, video, and short-form content that reflects brand storytelling and culture.
      • Develop and manage a scalable UGC and influencer program that highlights authentic guest experiences.
      • Build and manage paid advertising campaigns across social and Google Ads platforms.
      • Track performance metrics and optimize ad spend to increase engagement and ROI.
      • Manage daily community engagement, responding to comments and fostering meaningful connections.
      • Stay ahead of social and cultural trends to keep the brand relevant and inspiring.

      Graphic Design & Visual Content

      • Support the creation of visual materials for digital, social media, and in-store collateral.
      • Handle light design work on an as-needed basis, such as merchandise mockups, poster layouts, and digital/social assets.
      • Translates brand visuals into in-store design elements (posters, displays, photography alignment).
      • Collaborate closely with the lead Graphic Designer and third-party creative partners to maintain visual consistency and meet brand standards.
      • Assist in the coordination, proofing, and ordering of branded items and collateral.
      • Translate design sensibility into digital content, ensuring social media assets and photography maintain the brand’s tone, quality, and style.

      In-Store & Guest Experience Design

      • Partner with internal teams to support the visual identity and guest experience within our group of restaurants.
      • Help shape seasonal or campaign-based in-store visuals, décor, and displays.
      • Coordinate the design and production of materials that bring hospitality and brand storytelling to life in the physical space.
      • Ensure consistency between digital brand expression and in-person experience.
      • Coordinate music updates with RevPop

      Merchandising Support

      • Sourcing new and unique product opportunities.
      • Support brand inventory, online retail, and in-store retail sales.

      Community & Event Engagement

      • Capture and share brand moments from community events, sponsorships, and local activations.
      • Support event marketing and promotional storytelling before, during, and after events.
      • Cultivate positive relationships with local partners, creators, and guests to strengthen community connection.
      • Track engagement and social coverage of events and report performance insights.
      • Manages donations and sponsorships


      Qualifications

      • 3–5 years of experience in social media management, content creation, graphic design, or marketing execution.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
      • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Premiere or After Effects a plus). - Canva
      • Experience managing paid social and Google Ads.
      • Strong aesthetic sense and visual storytelling ability.
      • Excellent copywriting and editing skills; confident adapting brand tone and style.
      • Highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable balancing multiple projects and timelines.
      • Experience in hospitality or lifestyle marketing strongly preferred.
