      Position Summary:
      The Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting with designing and producing a variety of materials for print, social media, and video. The candidate will be able to show Campus Recreation activities, programs, and facilities in a safe, diverse, intentionally engaging way to enhance the University experience. The Marketing Intern will report to the Assistant Director for Marketing, Communication and External Relations and Marketing Coordinator and creates marketing collateral for all Campus Recreation campaigns and programs.
      Primary Responsibilities:
      • Develops creative ideas and concepts for comprehensive marketing campaigns and associated materials
      • Design marketing materials (both print, digital and web) using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other creative design assets
      • Captures and edits digital photos and video to be used across a variety of channels
      • Takes a creative role in assisting in the conceptual direction of the way Campus Recreation tells the story of how Tar Heels Stay Active
      • Writes and creates content for digital footprint in support of growing engagement and awareness of Campus Recreation activities, programs, and facilities.
      • Assists with leadership and mentorship of the marketing student team
