- Design and develop custom WordPress themes, plugins, and functionality tailored to marketing needs
- Build and maintain complex page templates and reusable components
- Optimize WordPress performance, security, and scalability
- Implement headless WordPress solutions when appropriate
- Integrate marketing automation platforms (HubSpot)
- Develop custom integrations between marketing tools via APIs
- Implement tracking pixels, conversion tracking, and tag management
- Build custom dashboards and reporting tools
- Create high-converting landing pages with A/B testing capabilities
- Build responsive email templates and marketing components
- Develop interactive tools, calculators, and lead generation assets
- Implement progressive profiling and dynamic content personalization
- Write clean, maintainable HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Develop responsive, mobile-first designs that match brand standards
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility (WCAG 2.1)
- Optimize front-end performance (Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, etc.)
- Partner with the Digital Marketing Specialist on implementation strategy
- Translate marketing requirements into technical specifications
- Provide technical guidance to marketing team on feasibility and best practices
- Document code, processes, and technical decisions
- 3-5 years of professional web development experience
- Expert-level WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, hooks, filters)
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or similar)
- PHP development experience (object-oriented)
- Git version control and collaborative development workflows
- Experience integrating marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred)
- Understanding of marketing analytics and conversion tracking
- Familiarity with CRM integrations and data flow
- Experience with form builders and lead capture systems
- Responsive and mobile-first design implementation
- Performance optimization techniques
- Web accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Security best practices for web applications
- Cross-browser testing and debugging
- Ability to translate marketing goals into technical solutions
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders

- Portfolio demonstrating marketing websites, landing pages, and custom WordPress development
- Experience in B2B or manufacturing industry environment preferred

About the Role
We're seeking a talented Marketing Web Developer to build, enhance, and maintain our digital marketing infrastructure. Reporting to the Manager of Global Demand Generation, you'll be the technical architect behind our marketing web presence—creating high-performance landing pages, custom WordPress solutions, and marketing automation integrations that drive measurable business results.
You'll work to translate marketing strategies into compelling digital experiences while collaborating closely with our Digital Marketing Specialist to optimize our entire digital ecosystem.
