      As a Senior Associate in the Markets Asset Servicing team, you will be responsible for managing income events across EMEA, WHEM, and ASIA markets. You will ensure timely and accurate processing of income events, claims, and reconciliations, working closely with trading desks, sales, finance, operations, clients, custodians, and third-party service providers. Your role will focus on delivering core business objectives, driving automation, and supporting process transformation initiatives.

      Job responsibilities

      • Ensure timely and accurate pre-event reconciliation and pay date event processing for income events such as dividends, coupons, and redemptions.
      • Partner with internal and external counterparties to manage and resolve payable and receivable claims, including SBL, market failed claims, coupon claims, and repo claims.
      • Oversee and reconcile cash breaks, wash breaks, suspense breaks, and control account breaks, ensuring timely resolution and minimal aged items.
      • Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) proactively.
      • Lead teams to achieve delivery milestones, mitigate risks, and address process inefficiencies.
      • Communicate effectively with senior management and escalate issues as needed.
      • Conduct periodic end-to-end process reviews, identify gaps, and collaborate with control partners to remediate issues.
      • Drive automation and process transformation using firmwide tools to enhance efficiency and controls.
      • Provide leadership by setting clear goals, strategies, and expectations for the team.
      • Foster a culture of accountability, motivation, and continuous improvement.
      • Partner with BAU domain leads to execute growth and change plans, including platform migration and people development.

      Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

      • Experience with data transformation and visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, QlikView/QlikSense, SQL, SAS, Python).
      • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex operational issues.
      • Excellent judgment, decision-making, and solutions-oriented approach.
      • Flexible teamwork skills, able to collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.
      • Ability to partner with internal teams, external clients, and third-party service providers.
      • Proven ability to manage tight delivery timelines and drive strategic change.
      • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills.

      Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

      • 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in asset servicing, income and corporate actions, or market operations processing.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
      • Understanding of technological development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and design techniques.
      • Business analytics or project management certifications.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
      • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Python, Alteryx, Tableau).
      • Series 99 license is a plus, but not required.
