      Material Handler - CA START ASAP!!!

      Contract to Hire | South Portland, ME | $22.50/hr

      We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our fast-paced warehouse team in South Portland. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is looking for long-term growth within a well-established company. You’ll be responsible for picking and packaging products, loading and unloading trucks, and verifying shipping paperwork. Training is provided for equipment such as pallet jacks and cranes.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Pick and package products accurately for shipment
      • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
      • Verify shipping paperwork and inventory documentation
      • Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and cranes (training provided)
      • Maintain a clean and organized work area

      Required Skills and Experience:

      • Forklift operation and material handling experience
      • Inventory management and basic documentation skills
      • At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
      • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
      • Comfortable with constant walking, standing, and bending
      • Strong attendance and dependability

      Work Environment:

      You’ll be working in a large, open warehouse where steel-toed shoes are required. The role involves physical labor in a dynamic setting, with exposure to varying temperatures. PPE such as gloves and safety gear will be provided.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
