      Overview

      A wonderful, busy family on the Upper East Side is seeking a full-time executive housekeeper to take charge of the home. The schedule will ideally be Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week, flexibility on the hours. This home is a 3-bedroom, 4-bathroom apartment totaling 4,000 square feet. They are seeking someone who can take ownership of household operations. This person must like dogs, as they have a 20lb cockapoo (non-shedding), that they would like walked twice a day.

      Responsibilities

      • Daily housekeeping and organization of a 3‑bedroom, 4‑bathroom home
      • Laundry, ironing, and general tidying/organization
      • Simple, healthy meal prep for lunches/dinners as needed (this means grilling some chicken, cutting up some vegetables, and steaming)
      • Walking and caring for a friendly dog during the day
      • Take ownership of the home- let the family know what they are missing and keep the household running
      • Know which products to use on floors vs on counters
      • Not shrinking clothes and knowledge of clothing

      Requirements

      • Minimum 5 years of experience in private, high-level households
      • Knowledge of fabrics. Must be able to read clothing labels
      • Dog friendly
      • Ability to cook very simple meals
      • Legal to work in the U.S.

      Salary and Benefits

      • $35/hr -40/hr
