Planning enriching, age-appropriate activities
Supporting developmental milestones
Coordinating swimming supervision (family has an in-ground pool; strong swimmer preferred)
Children’s meal prep
Child-related organization and tidying
Helping create a fun, structured, nurturing environment
Travel between residences as needed
- Travel domestically and internationally
Strong experience with toddlers and newborns
Valid driver’s license and confident driver (required)
Comfortable living on a rural property part of the year
Strong swimmer preferred
Flexible and adaptable

$35–$40/hour DOE

Overview
A warm, professional family is seeking a full-time live-in or live-out nanny to care for their 2.5-year-old daughter and newborn (due soon). The position will begin in New York City (Upper East Side) and transition to the family’s 80-acre farm in New Lebanon, NY, after June 30. The family is seeking a long-term, career-oriented nanny who is nurturing, organized, proactive, and eager to grow with a young family. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-4 or 5pm, with flexibility. They would love this person to be able to travel with them as they travel quite a bit domestically and internationally. After June 30th, they will travel into the city once every two weeks.
Responsibilities
When the toddler is at school, focus will shift to newborn care and child-related household organization.
