  The Opportunity

  As a Mechanical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) based out of our Thornhill office, you will help shape the systems that power resilient, efficient, and sustainable buildings across Ontario. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team known for delivering innovative mechanical solutions that make a measurable difference in the communities we serve.

  Your Impact

  • Assist in the design of mechanical building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, for a range of institutional, commercial, and residential projects.
  • Support calculations, modeling, and system sizing using industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate closely with senior engineers and project managers to deliver coordinated, integrated designs.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and engineering reports.
  • Perform site visits, construction reviews, and field investigations to support project delivery.
  • Apply sustainable design principles to help advance decarbonization and energy efficiency goals.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary design meetings and support project documentation.

  The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Eligibility for Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) status with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
  • Knowledge of mechanical building systems and applicable codes/standards.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
  • Interest in sustainable and low‑carbon mechanical system design.
  • A collaborative mindset with curiosity to learn from experienced mentors.

  Compensation

  AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 – $88,400
  MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800
  NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $60,300 – $80,000
