      Essential Duties and Responsibilities

      1

      Undertake disassembly and cleaning preparation of Subsea equipment to the required standard and reassemble Subsea equipment after repair is complete.

      2

      Use power tools for disassembly and assembly appropriately.

      3

      Perform routine preventative maintenance on all tools and equipment.

      4

      Assist with pressure testing, as and when required.

      5

      Ensure that all work is completed effectively and timely as per route sheet. Route sheets are stamped upon completion of the operation.

      Assist on the fabrication and connector line with grinding, fit up, and assembly

      7

      Carry out paint touch up on finished and assembled parts

      8

      Perform checks on all lifting equipment in use, ensuring it is in calibration and safe to use on a daily basis.

      9

      Maintain a high standard of housekeeping at all times within designated area.

      10

      Ensure personal safety at all times, and the safety of all others.

      11

      Assist to train other operational personnel, as and when required.

      12

      Accept and carry out any additional work related instructions/activities, to the best of his ability, as determined by the department supervisor/manager.

      13

      Ensure compliance with OIL STATES INDUSTRIES HSE Policies and HSE Management System.

      14

      Ensure compliance with OIL STATES INDUSTRIES Quality Policies and Quality Management System.

      Qualification Requirements

      Formal Education & Certification

      Diploma or Degree graduate in Mechanical Engineering.

      Knowledge & Experience

      Must have a minimum 10 years’ experience in the oilfield industry, of which, at least 5 years in a workshop environment.

      Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

      Personal Attributes

      Possess good written and communication skills in English.

      Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with minimal supervisor and as part of a team.

      Must demonstrate the highest standards of personal and professional integrity.

      Excellent organizational skills, and be prepared to work as part of a team.

      Pro-active & self-driven who is also able to engage positively within and across teams.

      High ability to adapt to changes & work under pressure as well as tight timelines.

      High level of commitment to achieve results, collaborates effectively towards achieving the agreed targets.

      Communicates effectively in spoken and written English.
