- Performing data entry, such as documenting chronic medical conditions, preventive services, and medication reconciliation
- Coordinating patient check-out and follow-up
- Scheduling appointments

Salary Range: $15.00 Position Type: Full Time Category: Health Care Description
New CMA hires are eligible for a $1,250 sign-on bonus.
The Medical Assistant works as part of the clinic provider team and assists the provider in the provision of primary health care and provides invaluable support to the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Team. The Medical Assistant provides limited direct patient services and performs specifically designated independent procedures. Duties include:

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED and completion of Medical Assistant course
Licensure: Certificate in medical assistance. Current in Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (CPR)
Experience: Prefer 1-2 years’ experience in a clinic, doctor’s office or similar health care facility.
Language: English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Travel: Occasionally; valid Texas driver’s license and current auto insurance required; must have reliable and safe transportation
