- Role Type: Per Diem (Flexible hours).
- Work Style: 100% Remote (Post-training).
- Focus: Specialized coding for home health clinical encounters.
- Experience: Prior medical coding experience specifically in a Home Health setting is required.
- Certification: Must hold a current coding certification (AAPC or AHIMA), such as: CCS, CCA, CPC, RHIT, COC, ACA, or CIC.
- Proximity: Ability to commute to Boardman, OH for initial training.
- Accurately assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes for home health clinical encounters to ensure compliant billing.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency in a remote work environment.
- Ensure all coding practices align with current facility and regulatory policies.
