- Welcoming patients, visitors, and third-party contacts in person or on the telephone
- Signposting enquiries to the most appropriate place (full training will be provided)
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Supporting team with processing of surgery administration tasks which includes data entry, scanning, prescriptions, letters, messages, emails, and recalls
- Follow surgery policies and procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and on the telephone
- Team player with a flexible approach to be able to offer additional cover when needed and be able to work on your own if required
- Experience in working in a fast pace, high demand environment
- Be able to manage workload and be able to prioritise
- Experience working on computers, data entry and secretarial is advantageous but not essential

Job summary
We are looking to recruit a medical receptionist to join our team at Caritas surgery working across our sites in Coedpoeth and Cefn Mawr.
A medical receptionist is the first point of contact for the GP practice and play an important part at the surgery, putting patients care as a priority.
