  MediCard Phils., Inc. is one of the country's leading HMO and the only HMO founded and run by Doctors.   MediCard now boasts of more than half a million members and over 54,000 accredited doctors in over 1,000 hospitals and clinics nationwide. It also operates 16 MediCard free-standing clinics that provide services at par with those offered by hospitals minus the confinement.

  MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy:

  Responsible in performing laboratory tests/procedures and encodes them correctly and accordingly. Delivers precise and accurate as well as on-time laboratory results to the patients

  DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs blood extraction to patients as part of PME packages or as per doctor’s request.
  • Properly checks patient’s identification, the laboratory request and the specimen sample.
  • Issues approval to laboratory request as appropriate based on our approval guidelines prior to availment.
  • Conducts on-site blood extraction, Drug Testing and Rapid Antibody Testing per assignment by the Supervisor.
  • Proper and accurate encoding of laboratory results.
  • Monitors and ensures that laboratory equipment/machines undergo preventive maintenance and calibration as scheduled.
  • Maintains and performs regular inspection on all laboratory machines/equipment.
  • Ensures and monitors sufficient inventory of supplies.
  • Prepares and submits timely reports.
  • Maybe assigned related tasks from time to time.
