Job Description

- Weigh incoming regulated medical waste containers (using our Weighbridge)
- Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
- Recertifying 55 Gallon drums
- Counting universal waste (lightbulbs, batteries, etc.) and adding them to the manifest
- Experience in training others
- Lifting up to 75 lbs and handling 55 gallon drums
- Provide attention to detail, especially with the paperwork required to process these items
- Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
- Working well with a team because we are all about team work!
- Someone with a can-do attitude who is committed to efficient, timely scheduling that has previous experience in a labor-intensive job. A person with proven longevity with their employers that we can rely on.
- Forklift certified!

- Consistent work hours - Monday- Friday, 3rd shift start anytime between (8PM-5AM)
- Permanent position – This is a Full-time permanent role of 40 hours per week

We are looking to hire a Warehouse Associate for our medical waste treatment Facility in Ellenwood, GA. A Warehouse Associate has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, recertifying 55 gallon drums, and weighing incoming sharps containers. The ideal candidate is an individual who likes variety in their work and can think through practical problems.
