What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, coordinate, and engineer systems across various disciplines, including telecom, security, network, audiovisual, and Wi-Fi
- Prepare drawings, specifications, contract documents, and design calculations using Revit and AutoCAD
- Conduct job site inspections to assess existing conditions and contractor progress
- Research technical product information relevant to project needs
- Attend and contribute to internal team, discipline, and project meetings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technology Project Manager in Technology Engineering for telecommunication, electronic security, and audiovisual systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Autodesk (AutoCAD and Revit), and Bluebeam Studio
- BS in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven ability to manage 10+ projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with California Building Codes, National Electrical Codes, and ability to identify and rectify code issues in design
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 10 or more years of experience as a Project Manager in Technology Engineering
- EIT/PE License or demonstrated progress toward these goals
- RCDD Certificate and/or Construction Documents Technologist (CSI) certification
- Experience with electronic security and audiovisual systems, as well as other technology systems (e.g., nurse call, WiFi, cellular, DAS)
- Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to team development
