Webato Roof Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for a MES Intern at our facility in New Hudson, MI.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor the Webasto MES system.
• Collaborate with Operations Teams, IT, Quality, Engineering to gather requirements and ensure Efficient use of the MES system.
• Develop and maintain project documentation.
• Maintain and monitor data accuracy within the system and help Production team to rectify data accuracy issues.
• Develop training materials for successful implementation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MES system and related processes.
• Support processes and tasks as defined by the Regional and Plant MES team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Industrial Engineering, Computer science or Process Engineering
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Good attitude and willingness to learn.
• Self-motivated and good problem-solving skills
• Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology
• Working knowledge or courses in databases design and database concepts, e.g. Microsoft SQLServer

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completed courses in Manufacturing processes, Data analytics, Data visualization or Manufacturing Execution systems.
• Familiarity with software like Ignition and Aegis.
• Available to do a longer term Co-Op
