      Position: Metal Processor

      Location: Sioux Falls, SD


      What You’ll Do

      As a Metal Processor, you’ll work with raw metal materials and operate fabrication equipment to prepare parts for production. Daily tasks may include:

      Material Handling & Preparation

      • Load, unload, and stage metal materials (steel, aluminum, stainless steel)
      • Measure, inspect, and verify material dimensions
      • Use hand tools and gauges to prep parts

      Machine Operation

      • Operate processing machinery such as saws, shears, deburring machines, and presses
      • Set up equipment based on job specifications
      • Monitor machines for proper operation and make simple adjustments as needed

      Quality Control

      • Inspect materials for defects or incorrect specifications
      • Verify accuracy before and after processing using tape measures, calipers, or micrometers
      • Follow production orders and maintain accuracy in documentation

      General Production Support

      • Assist welders, fabricators, and machine operators as needed
      • Maintain a clean, organized work area
      • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

      ⭐ What We’re Looking For

      You’re a great fit if you have:

      • Experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, warehouse, or general labor
      • Ability to read a tape measure accurately
      • Comfort working around machinery and hand tools
      • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
      • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for most of the shift
      • Dependable work ethic and positive attitude

      Bonus Skills (Not Required):

      • Experience with saws or cutting equipment
      • Forklift certification
      • Experience with CNC, laser, or press brake equipment
      • Basic mechanical aptitude or machine operating background

      Job Type & Location

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
