What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the subject matter expert for metal products, managing quoting activities and ensuring project tracking in Salesforce
- Collaborate with sales, product, and construction services teams to provide technical guidance and support
- Lead major metal project quotes from preparation through purchase order
- Conduct customer-facing training and develop training materials for sales teams
- Manage competitive analysis and market feedback to enhance product offerings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, business, or a related technical field
- 7–10 years of experience in metal products, manufacturing, or related specialty product categories
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication and competitive market landscape
- Proficiency in Salesforce for project tracking and pipeline management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in product management, estimating, or technical sales within building products
- Understanding of CPQ systems, quoting tools, and sales-enablement processes
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills for pricing strategy and complex quoting
- Experience working with architects, contractors, or distributors in a commercial building materials environment
