- Produce corrosion-inhibiting powder in a controlled environment, adhering to safety standards.
- Operate machinery for powder blending, perform product mixing, and transfer chemicals while maintaining accurate records.
- Consistently lift and handle 50-pound bags, dump materials into mixers, and shovel powder into containers.
- Operate sitdown and standup forklifts to move materials, barrels, containers, and pallets.
- Fill 55-gallon drums with corrosion solutions, manually lift and dump bags, and monitor machines and products.
- Perform basic measurements and follow batch sheets for accurate product mixing.
- Climb step ladders to load materials into mixers, inspect products, and ensure quality control.
- Work outside for ammonia product handling, rotating in and out for no more than 4 hours per shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of machinery and workspaces.
- Ability to consistently stand, bend, kneel, twist, and lift 50 pounds throughout the day.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending English documents and work orders.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with operating sitdown and standup forklifts.
- Capability to perform basic measurements, including fractions and mixtures.
- Experience with forklift operations is a significant advantage.
- Prior experience in mixing or blending processes.
- Skills in troubleshooting or equipment setup.
- Experience working in industrial environments subject to varying temperatures and conditions.
Job Title: Production OperatorJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Production Operator, where you will be involved in various critical processes across different departments. You will start in a specific area based on need but must be open to working in all areas, including the Powder Room, Liquid Room, and Paint Room. Your role is essential in producing high-quality corrosion protection solutions while maintaining a safe work environment.

Work EnvironmentOur work environment is blue-collar, requiring punctuality and a strong work ethic. The facility can become extremely hot, especially in the summer, with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees. Employees must not be sensitive to various chemical and powder odors. Protective uniforms and PPE, including respirators, masks, and gloves, are provided to ensure safety in this potentially dirty environment. The team comprises 20 production employees across two departments, fostering a stable and family-oriented atmosphere.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
