      Job Description

      The lead Engineering intern is accountable for all aspects of engineering necessary to deliver custom water treatment systems to industrial and municipal customers. The LE Intern assists a cross disciplinary team of engineers and designers to ensure on time and budget execution of the process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering tasks on the project.

      As an intern, you will be directly working with Lead Engineers assigned to the projects to assist with assigned tasks as outlined below but not limited to:

      • Help with project organizing and planning

      • Tracking project issues with assigned parties to completion

      • Prepare reports for the teams as required

      • Help with project engineering submittals

      • Help with updating Master Document List (MDL) and project execution dashboard

      • Participate in group activities and initiatives

      Qualifications

      • Enrolled in Engineering, technical degree, or diploma
      • Organizational skills with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment

      • Good communicator with ability to interface with clients, suppliers, and co-workers

      • Familiarity with Process and & Instrumentation diagrams

      • Self-motivated, driven, and a team player

      • Working with minimum supervision

      Useful skills or abilities:

      While on-the-job training will be provided, candidates may benefit from previous knowledge and exposure in the following areas:

      • Proficient level of working with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint

      • Presentation skills

      • Familiar with project management principles

      • Familiar with project planning
