  What you will do:

  • Design new solutions to enhance network security for promoting business outcomes, per best practices.
  • Architect, engineer, upgrade, and maintain Palo Alto firewall platforms.
  • Assure infrastructure remains stable.
  • Troubleshoot firewall issues pertaining to both the firewall health and traffic that passes through.
  • Serve weekly 24-hour on-call support.
  • Provide detailed documentation around designed solutions and provide training to other members of the IT team.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and review firewall polices to meet these standards.
  • Participate in discovering and implementing new technologies for improving our infrastructure.

  What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree Information Technology, Computers, or related experience with a focus on Networking and Security
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, specifically working with firewalls and experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Advanced knowledge of computer security and networking, the OSI model, TCP\UPD, and TCP Ports.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio or similar product and creating network diagram.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
