      Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.

      Responsibilities:
      • Organize operations within assigned work area and coordinate production activities to meet production schedules in the most efficient and effective manner.
      • Conduct morning start up meetings to emphasize safety, set goals, and communicate weekly work plans in zone.
      • Monitor performance to metrics and utilize problem solving skills to drive appropriate improvement.
      • Identify training gaps and provide recommendations on developing skills and training needs and develop and mentor team members through delegation of duties and coaching.
      • Identify CI opportunities by determining root cause and developing a corrective action plan.
      • Recommend workplace layouts, production methods, and production efficiencies by auditing operations to improve production flow and reduce costs.
      • Recommend and expedite the servicing and repair of equipment and facilities and realign production sequences to accommodate emergency maintenance schedules.
      • Perform and support scheduled audits by zone to identify and correct safety, compliance, delivery, and other risk.
      • Communicate with production control, logistics, assembly team, fabrication team, engineering, and parts and accessories to support production demand, growth initiatives and customer service.
      • Support efforts toward hiring and retention of shop floor employees and manage time and attendance, performance, and employee concerns.
      • Encourage positive employee morale, engagement of entire workforce and ensure a safe and productive environment for all team members.

      Qualifications:
      • Education: High School Diploma or GED required
      • Years of Experience: 4 or more years of manufacturing experience required
      • Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
      • Demonstrated leadership, communication, interpersonal and teambuilding skills
      • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma preferred
