      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct audits of medical record documentation for outpatient encounters, including clinic visits and outpatient surgical procedures
      - Utilize coding expertise to ensure compliance with Local, State, and Federal coding guidelines and regulations
      - Abstract information from electronic health records for the compilation of an OP CDI Education database
      - Support the Documentation & Coding Provider Education Program and monthly provider performance scorecards
      - Collaborate with colleagues to identify patterns and trends that support root cause analysis

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
      - Minimum of two (2) years of coding experience required
      - Prior experience in a healthcare revenue cycle position required
      - Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize work
      - Proficient in ICD-10 CM, CPT, HCC, and HCPCS coding

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Additional specialty coding certification or 5-7 years of coding experience preferred
      - One to two (1-2) years of college or additional coursework in Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, or Medical Record Sciences preferred
      - In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and medical terminology
      - Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
