Job Description

- Work under the direction and supervision of Milestone Attorneys to support legal matters across various practice areas.
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence as needed to support case resolution.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on relevant legal issues.
- Manage and accurately track a high volume of case files, ensuring all documentation is organized and up to date.
- Utilize legal databases and court systems to retrieve, review, and file case materials.
- Maintain a strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and filing requirements.
- Handle internal and external communications with professionalism and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and update case reports and project documentation in accordance with established timelines.
- Coordinate with outside counsel, vendors, and service providers during various phases of legal proceedings.
- Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with secure protocols.
- Collaborate with internal operational teams and delegate tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability for project outcomes.
- Provide administrative support on key legal projects and deliverables as assigned.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of tasks as outlined in project plans, court orders, or client requests.
- Respond promptly to colleagues and stakeholders to keep project deliverables on schedule.
- Communicate client needs effectively to internal teams to ensure alignment and responsiveness.
- Draft and review work with a high level of accuracy, escalating issues appropriately when necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree and/or a paralegal certificate, or 5+ years industry experience.
- Advanced computer literacy with Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- 4+ years of relevant bankruptcy law experience
- Experience in mass tort settlements or multi-party personal injury, with basic knowledge of lien resolution is ideal.
- Advanced Excel abilities such as Pivot Tables, V/XLOOKUP, and Macros are a plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Asana, Power Automate, Power BI, are pluses.
