HOURS WORKED: Varies, 19 Hours/Week, Monday – Friday and Tuesday – Saturday

STARTING SALARY: Grade 5, wage dependent upon experience
PRIMARY DUTIES
The Parking Enforcement Specialist enforces the City’s parking laws and ordinances and NH State statutes related to parking. Patrols assigned route(s) for parking infractions and issues citations as appropriate. Position also issues meter violations throughout the City and reports faulty meters and other parking-related maintenance to Parking Operations personnel. Position serves as a central information point for citizens, answering questions regarding public parking issues, as well as general information about the City Of Nashua.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a high school diploma or certified equivalent and knowledge of Nashua ordinances and State statutes in relation to parking violations. Must be familiar with Nashua streets. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record. Ability to achieve and maintain certification in First Aid and CPR is required. Ability to perform in a courteous and professional manner in all situations, including difficult interactions with the public.
