- Assist with the installation, operation, repair, service, inspection, and/or testing of power plant equipment and components
- Clean, lubricate, and perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on power plant systems and components such as traps, valves, pipes, etc.
- Assist with confined space work to prepare boilers, tanks, etc. for inspection and service
- Maintain operational areas in a clean and orderly manner
- Assist other utilities personnel with maintenance needs

The Office of Physical Plant is currently hiring power plant workers for summer employment beginning May 11, 2026, through August 14, 2026. This position requires 40 hours of work per week.
