What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure efficient and orderly registration of outpatients and assist with inpatients
- Collect accurate patient information and verify insurance benefits and eligibility
- Answer and route incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously
- Greet and direct visitors to appropriate areas within the hospital
- Support the Patient Financial Services department with assigned duties and process improvements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service experience
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft products and knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to manage stress and make decisions under pressure
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with MediTech systems
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
