      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Coordinate with primary care physicians and insurance companies to obtain referrals for office visits prior to scheduled appointments
      - Ensure all authorizations are accurately documented in the system
      - Advise patients of any potential issues regarding authorization prior to their appointments
      - Work with the Billing/Collections department to research and obtain authorizations for previously denied claims
      - Utilize insurance websites to obtain necessary referrals and authorizations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school graduate or equivalent
      - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment
      - Experience with registration, scheduling, and healthcare benefits is helpful
      - Excellent customer service and communication skills
      - Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and handle high call volumes

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with Windows-based computer environments and typing skills
      - Previous experience in patient access or related administrative roles in healthcare
