What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage with patients, referral sources, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery
- Create, communicate, and obtain all required documentation for new referrals
- Secure patient’s upfront payment and assist in identifying avenues for financial assistance
- Support ongoing activities to ensure clean claims and manage denial paperwork
- Assist Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two years of related experience required
- Ability to multi-task and manage numerous referrals and priorities simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of quality focus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to troubleshoot and collaborate effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous healthcare or medical billing experience preferred
