Through primary care and multispecialty medical practices, the physicians and other health care professionals of NYPMG, in collaboration with Columbia Doctors and Weill Cornell Physicians, provide families with high quality, patient-centered care close to home in the New York metropolitan area.

      Register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments, and feel the pride of going beyond to help others. In this role, you will obtain demographic details and insurance information, and ensure proper scheduling. You will record patient history while obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients. Most importantly, you will be the calm and reassuring presence patients need as they navigate their hospital experience. This is a Full Time Monday-Friday position. Shifts varies weekly 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm Monday through Fridays , overtime as needed. This position is located at 50 Court Street, 6th Flr, Brooklyn, NY. May be required to cover for other practices within Brooklyn. Bilingual candidates would be a plus (English Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese)

      Preferred Criteria:

      • Completed some college coursework and are familiar with health insurance requirements.

      • Epic Experience

      • Bilingual- English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Russian

      Required Criteria:

      • Qualified candidates have at least one year of clerical experience.

      • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

      • Energetic, approachable individual with a desire to put patients first.

      Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

      NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
