      Job Summary: We are seeking an analytical and operationally focused Pharmacy Analyst to join our pharmacy consulting team. This role supports the operational, clerical, and compliance functions of the pharmacy department to ensure smooth, efficient, and accurate workflow. This role assists with documentation, scheduling, request for proposal coordination, data entry, and communication between pharmacy benefit managers, client service teams and our pharmacy consultant and clinical pharmacist. Responsibilities include maintaining paperwork, audit documentation, processing billing and invoicing information, and supporting pharmacy leadership with reporting and administrative projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in customer service, multitasking, and working within pharmacy benefit managers. This role is essential for maintaining operational excellence and enabling pharmacists and consultants to focus on clinical and patient-care priorities.

      Key Responsibilities:
      • Support pharmacy benefit consulting teams by preparing and organizing documentation for client meetings, RFP responses, and strategic pharmacy program reviews.
      • Assist in analyzing pharmacy claims data to identify utilization trends, cost drivers, and opportunities for benefit optimization.
      • Coordinate benefit design updates, formulary changes, and policy documentation for employer groups or health plan clients.
      • Manage client communication regarding pharmacy benefit questions, formulary clarifications, and plan performance metrics.
      • Compile reports for clients outlining claim outcomes, high-cost medication impacts, and year-over-year pharmacy spend comparisons.
      • Support consultants during audits and pharmacy benefit reviews by organizing information, claims extracts, and required documentation.
      • Facilitate data requests and data reconciliations between client partners, PBMs, and internal analytics teams to support modeling, forecasting, and pricing initiatives.
      • Monitored service-level agreement (SLA) performance for PBM partners and escalated issues impacting client experience or benefit accuracy.
      • Assisted with benchmarking projects comparing pharmacy programs and pricing against industry standards, employer groups, and peer markets.
      •• Ensured all documentation and communications adhered to HIPAA and regulatory requirements when handling PHI.
      • Provided administrative coordination for pharmacy-related projects, including meeting scheduling, timeline tracking, and deliverable management.
      • Conduct ad hoc analyses based on client or broker requests.

      Qualifications:
      Education & Credentials:

      Bachelor of Science in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Economics
      Relevant Coursework: Healthcare Finance, Data Analytics, Health Policy, Pharmacy Benefit Management
      Experience:
      • 3-5 years of experience in pharmacy benefits, PBM operations, pharmacy analytics or pharmacy consulting.
      • Experience working with or for a PBM, health plan, or benefits consulting firm is highly desirable.
      • Experience working with large data sets
      Skills:
      • Strong analytical and financial acumen.
      • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
