- Provide treatment to patients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient special physical or age-related needs. This position requires skills in patient treatment and professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential. This position is exclusively in acute care with 10 hour shifts.
- Current licensure in the State of Oregon as a Physical Therapist.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Acute inpatient experience.
- Ability to develop treatment strategies based upon sound evaluative skills to provide the greatest therapeutic benefit for each patient.
- Implement program, monitor patient progress carefully, adjust treatment as needed to assist patients to achieve their greatest potential.
- High degree of written and verbal ability to instruct patients and prepare reports.
- Flexibility to handle variety of duties which may be interrupted and changed by immediate circumstances.
- Ability to work with others as an integral part of the rehabilitation team.
