      ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

      General description of main/primary duties and responsibilities of the job, aptitude, level of complexity, span of control, autonomy, decision making and judgement. It is central and necessary to the satisfactory performance of the job. Includes the following and other duties as assigned.

      Under close supervision this position will:

      • Maintain a safe working environment, represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, and provide excellent customer service while performing all assigned tasks.
      • Assist and observe to learn from the Midstream team and service contractors, including pipeline pigging and maintenance crews.
      • Assist with maintaining efficient flow of gases and other materials, monitor pipeline, gathering system, equipment, etc. and communicate with other Operators and Technicians.
      • Perform proper service, maintenance, and basic repair of pipeline facilities.
      • Responsible for submitting accurate maintenance reports, work orders in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), expense reports, timesheets, and other necessary paperwork on a daily basis.
      • Communicate on a continuous basis with Pipeline Supervisors to provide updates on activities, address issues, report abnormal and/ or unusual operating conditions to ensure safe and efficient operations.
      • Comply with all environmental laws, policies, and regulations. Promptly report all adverse environmental conditions.
      • Maintain a clean worksite, free of all waste and spills, to ensure hazard free working conditions.
      • Assist Pipeline Locators with pipeline locate requests from WV 811.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      Education, Experience, Licensure (minimum level required)

      • High School Diploma or equivalent.
      • At least one (1) year of gas gathering and/ or facility operations experience.

      • Basic knowledge of pipeline hydraulics and associated equipment.
      • Basic electrical, mechanical, and computer knowledge.
      • Good written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities, tasks, growth, and direction.
      • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, and foster and encourage teamwork.
      • Basic math skills with ability to calculate tank volumes and gas flow rates.

      SAFETY SENSITIVE RELATED

      • Ability to safely operate vehicles, equipment, and tools.
      • Able to recognize and apply safety processes and procedures.
      • Possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR) that meet Company’s Insurance qualifications to operate Company vehicle.
      • Possess DOT Operator Qualifications for gas gathering and pipeline operations.

      SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Functions as an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibilities.

      WORK ENVIRONMENT

      Field Related:

      This position may be subject to:

      • Exposure to computer screens and requires regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
      • Extreme Cold and Heat: temperatures typically below 32o F or above 100o F for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions as wind, rain, snow, and humidity.
      • Noise: there is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
      • Vibration: exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body.
      • Confined Space: work areas large enough for individual to enter, limited means of entry or exit, and not designed for continue occupancy.
      • Hazards: includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to chemicals, combustibles, explosives, etc.

      HOURS / SHIFTS

      • Regular business hours.
      • Alternative shift schedule: 7&7
      • Available for on-call rotation and responsibilities on weekends and holidays for urgent issues or emergencies during off hours, as needed.

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS

      • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
      • Regularly lift, push, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds.
      • Frequently be able to bend, stoop, crouch, etc.
      • Frequent amount of traversing through challenging terrain to perform work, evaluate sites and conditions, inspect equipment/assets, etc.

      TRAVEL

      Approximate amount of time.

      • Minimal travel may be required to other locations.
      • Frequent travel to Company’s field operations and/or offices. Approximately 95% of time in field.
