The Pit Clerk is responsible for the data input and various clerical functions of the casino pit. The position requires strong attention to detail. Track bets on tracking sheet, total the amount played and number of total bets made .
Qualifications
• Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner
• Must present a neat and professional appearance
• Work requires a minimum age of 21
• Work requires ability to perform basic math functions
• Work requires flexibility to work various shifts
• Work requires proven knowledge and experience on assigned game
• Cards Needed: Gaming License
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint
• Must be able to tolerate Secondhand smoke
• Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems, in a timely manner
• Must be able sit, and stand for extended periods of time
Responsibilities
• Responsible for data entry which requires operating a computer. Heavy computer input and/or information source for hotel marketing, credit, and auditing reports
• Responsible for handling rating slips, fills and credit as well as issuing and buying back markers
• Responsible for communicating with cage personnel to determine customer credit lines
• Transmits pit credit information to Cage Pit Clerks
• Issues and maintains credit information for marker play in the casino
• Balances markers to table cards, and transfers markers to Casino Cage
• Keeps logs of all fills and credits issued on the gaming tables
• Generates casino comp error reports
• Track bets on tracking sheet, total the amount played and number of total bets madeAbout the company
