      Responsibilities

      Tasks

      • Train or arrange for training of crew
      • Start up or shut down process equipment
      • Prepare raw materials for mixing process
      • Plan sequence of operation
      • Monitor quality and production levels
      • Interpret and enforce rules of procedure
      • Feed and unload production machinery and equipment
      • Ensure smooth operation of equipment
      • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
      • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
      • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
      • Assist in locating and isolating system problems
      • Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements
      • Work with minimal supervision
      • Operate industrial trucks, tractors and other mobile equipment
      • Co-ordinate and supervise production crew such as machine and process operators, tenders, assistants and helpers
      • Identifying and investigating compliance issues
