- or equivalent experience
- Train or arrange for training of crew
- Start up or shut down process equipment
- Prepare raw materials for mixing process
- Plan sequence of operation
- Monitor quality and production levels
- Interpret and enforce rules of procedure
- Feed and unload production machinery and equipment
- Ensure smooth operation of equipment
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
- Assist in locating and isolating system problems
- Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements
- Work with minimal supervision
- Operate industrial trucks, tractors and other mobile equipment
- Co-ordinate and supervise production crew such as machine and process operators, tenders, assistants and helpers
