Job overview:
A SRDC potato shunter is a vital role to the manufacturing process. The role is vital to ensure a smooth flow of trailer on and off the intake bays to manufacturing. Using the SRDC shunt units the role will require traveling a short distance to other Pepsico site to collect and drop off trailers.
Position summary:
Salary: £36,700.39

Working Hours: Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Alternating days and nights. 12 hour shifts.
Location: Leicester SRDC-GBR, Bursom Road Walkers Snacks Distribution Ltd Leicester LE4 1EX
Responsibilities- Ensure KPIs are delivered.
- Ensure that all standards - safety, hygiene, service and productivity KPIs - are being maintained.
- Support the safety programme through the Near Miss programme.
- Ensuring punctual trailer flow on and off the potato intake bays.
- Able to identify service risks and act accordingly.
Qualifications- HGV1 license (due to H&S/legal requirements for driving on the external road)
- Bags of energy with a drive and interest for personal results.
- Be a strong team player & contribute to improving the team results
- A proven record of High personal performance and High Safety Standards
- A high quality focus demonstrated at all times
- An excellent attendance & reliability record
- A flexible approach with the ability to work at a fast pace and prioritise tasks.
- Constantly looking for improvements and a better way forward during their daily role
