  General Summary
  
  We are seeking a seasoned Microsoft Principal (Senior) Consultant / Presales Solution Architect with expertise in Microsoft Entra ID and Entra Governance. This role focuses on presales architecture-helping enterprise customers modernize identity platforms, plan migrations, and align programs with security strategy.
  
  The ideal candidate combines solution architecture and integration skills with the ability to engage executives and technical teams. They know how to earn trust quickly, listen actively, and guide customers toward solutions that balance business needs with technical controls.
  
  While primarily presales, this individual will contribute to practice growth through sales support, opportunity identification, and new service development.
  
  Responsibilities
  
  • Lead presales engagements, including discovery sessions, requirements gathering, and solution design.
  • Help customers translate the intent of paper-based or homegrown identity workflows into modern solutions with technical controls and governance.
  • Scope and estimate identity migrations and integrations, providing accurate effort and duration guidance.
  • Advise on migrations from other IAM, IGA, and identity tools into Microsoft Entra solutions.
  • Architect and present solutions for Entra ID and Entra Governance that align with Zero Trust and compliance frameworks.
  • Deliver proposals, demos, and executive-level presentations to support customer adoption.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure presales designs translate into successful project execution.
  • Contribute thought leadership, best practices, and reusable solution assets for internal and customer use.
  • Design and extend Entra solutions using Azure services and APIs such as Logic Apps, Function Apps, Graph API, and Data Factory.
  
  
  Required Skills
  
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID and Entra ID Governance.
  • Proven experience in large-scale identity migrations and integrations.
  • Strong developer skills for building custom extensions, workflows, and integrations within Microsoft and hybrid environments.
  • Significant experience leveraging Logic Apps, Function Apps, Graph API, Data Factory, and related Azure services to extend and enhance identity and governance solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps delivery models, understanding their impact on presales solution design and execution.
  • Ability to scope and estimate presales opportunities and migration projects accurately.
  • Skilled at facilitating workshops and guiding customers to uncover, refine, and define requirements.
  • Strong understanding of SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, provisioning, privileged access, and governance processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical stakeholders and business leaders.
  
  
  Required Qualifications
  
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years focused on Identity & Access Management.
  • Previous experience as a Solution Architect or Presales Architect in large enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated success in migrations from legacy or competitor IAM/IGA platforms to Microsoft Entra.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
  
  
  Preferred Certifications
  
  • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
  • CISSP, CISM, or vendor certifications (Okta, SailPoint, Ping, Saviynt)
  
  
  Additional Skills (Not Required, but Highly Valuable)
  
  Experience or familiarity with:
  
  • Broader Microsoft Entra Suite, including:
    • Entra Verified ID
    • Entra Internet Access & Private Access (ZTNA)
    • Entra External IDs
    • Entra Workload IDs
  • Other IAM/IGA platforms such as Okta, Ping, SailPoint, and Saviynt.
  • Migration tooling such as Quest and former Binary Tree for AD migrations and tenant-to-tenant scenarios.
  • Active Directory consolidation projects related to divestitures, mergers, and acquisitions.
