What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead enterprise-level forensic investigations involving malware, insider threats, and data exfiltration
- Direct technical response during priority incidents, collaborating with IT and Cloud teams
- Conduct root cause analysis for major cyber events and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain forensic methodologies and evidence handling standards
- Serve as the primary liaison with Legal, Privacy, and external law enforcement during sensitive investigations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in Incident Response/DFIR with leadership in complex investigations
- Proficiency with cloud and identity logging tools such as Sentinel, Splunk, and Microsoft 365
- Mastery of Windows and Linux internals, alongside knowledge of authentication flows and persistence mechanisms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of briefing executives under pressure
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Industry certifications such as GCFA, GCFE, GREM, GCIH, CISA, or CISSP
- Experience with Zero Trust controls and SaaS forensics (e.g., O365, Google Workspace)
- Familiarity with threat modeling and purple team practices
- Background in regulated environments like healthcare or financial services
