      Job Description

      Key Responsibilities

      • Act as a principal investigator, generate & lead original ideas, strategies, & new scientific proposals in the area of inflammatory skin diseases with the use of complex human models.
      • Anticipate, critically evaluate & respond to scientific, regulatory, or competitive advances/threats.
      • Independently responsible for project science within area of expertise on project teams.
      • Primary author of publications, presentations, regulatory documents & /or primary inventor of patents.
      • Present at leading scientific conferences.
      • Understand & adhere to corporate code of conduct & safety standards.
      • Mentor a team & evaluate performance.

      Qualifications

      Education & Experience

      Must possess a PhD in biological sciences, bioengineering or chemical engineering & 1 year developing & implementing complex in vitro human models for drug discovery with a pharmaceutical company.

      Of work experience required, must have 1 year:

      1. developing & validating human tissue-on-a-chip models;
      2. growing primary human tissue culture including multiple cell types in a co-culture; &
      3. performing data & image acquisition analysis & presentation.

      Experience may be gained concurrently.

      Salary: $150,737.93 - $202,500.00 per year
