      Job Title: Production AssemblerJob Description

      The Production Assembler is pivotal in constructing high-quality battery packs, cables, harnesses, and electro-mechanical components within a team-oriented manufacturing environment. This role involves rotating through various assembly tasks, supported by in-house training on IPC-620 standards, welding, general assembly processes, and basic Cirris testing. A keen eye for detail, precision in labeling and documentation, and hands-on experience with cable and harness assembly are essential.

      Responsibilities
      • Rotate through different tasks in the production process as needed.
      • Assemble cables, battery packs, and electro-mechanical components.
      • Follow and uphold the organization's quality standards and work instructions.
      • Engage in ongoing training, including cross-training in various production areas.
      • Use lead-free solder on PC boards.
      • Provide feedback and suggestions to engineers and cell leads for continuous improvement.
      • Perform other duties as assigned beyond the primary responsibilities.

      Work Environment

      This role operates within a manufacturing setting, involving prolonged periods of sitting at a workstation with intermittent standing during assembly line work. Tasks include repetitive hand and wrist motions, fine motor skills for precise assembly, and frequent physical movements such as reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs. The position may expose employees to varying temperatures, noise levels, and battery chemicals, necessitating personal protective equipment like safety glasses, gloves, and lab coats.
