  Job Title: General Production Worker

  Job Description

  As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for handling bags of product ranging from 1-50 lbs. and occasionally up to 60 lbs. You will perform tasks such as reading ingredients, counting bags on pallets, placing scoops in containers, stacking and sealing bags, and operating equipment along the production line.

  Responsibilities

  • Read ingredients and count bags on pallets.
  • Place scoops in cans, jars, or buckets and secure lids.
  • Stack and seal bags or cans as they come off production lines.
  • Bag products and dump into equipment on production lines.

  Essential Skills

  • General production knowledge.
  • Ability to handle lifting and bagging tasks.
  • Experience in quality control, general labor, assembly, packaging, and machine operation.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and perform routine tasks.
  • Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
  • Basic computer operational skills for data entry and retrieval.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  Work Environment

  The work is conducted in a food production facility where safety PPE is mandatory. Shifts are available in three rotations: 1st Shift from 7am - 3pm, 2nd Shift from 3pm - 11pm, and 3rd Shift from 11pm - 7am. Food particles may be present in certain area

  Job Type & Location

  This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, WI.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $18.36 - $23.59/hr.
