- Work on production lines handling food products.
- Box and stack products, loading and unloading them into machines.
- Palletize and wrap products efficiently.
- Open boxes of empty glass bottles and feed them into the production machine.
- Remove boxes from the line and stack them on pallets.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area throughout the day.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ability to lift 15-20 pounds.
- Capability to stand for shifts ranging from 10-12 hours.
- Teamwork on a production line.
- Experience with high-speed production lines.
- Experience in a production or warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Familiarity with pallet jacks and packaging processes.

Work Environment
The work environment is in a food manufacturing setting, experiencing varied temperatures due to lack of air conditioning or heating. Employees work near machines, which can emit heat, and must be comfortable with strong food-related odors. Shifts are 10-12 hours long, requiring standing for extended periods. Safety gear such as gloves, beard nets, hair nets, ear plugs, and safety glasses is provided. Steel-toed boots are required. Team members wear royal blue shirts, provided by the company. The environment is culturally diverse, and most colleagues communicate in Spanish or Haitian Creole. Amenities include personal lockers and a break room with microwaves and vending machines.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hurlock, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
