  Production Worker - both Afternoon Shift and Day shift available

  Job Description

  Join our dynamic team as a Production Worker, where you will assist the printing press operator in running automated machines that print on bags and pouches. This physically demanding role requires lifting 40-50 pounds and involves loading materials such as rolls of material and ink into machines. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean work area during downtime and learning to move materials around the plant.

  Responsibilities

  • Assist the printing press operator with running automated machines.
  • Load and unload materials including rolls of material and ink.
  • Maintain a clean work area during downtime.
  • Learn how to move materials around the plant.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team player.

  Essential Skills

  • Experience in production and general production.
  • Inspection and packing skills.
  • Proficiency in using a tape measure.
  • Manufacturing and assembly experience.
  • Packaging skills.
  • Forklift operation a plus
  • Cleaning and maintenance.
  • Blueprint reading and power tool usage.
  • Loading and operation skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Production line experience.
  • Picking, labelling, and visual inspection skills.
  • Material handling expertise.

  This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, NM.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $15.25 - $15.25/hr.
