      Our Faculty seeks to appoint a Professional Practice Fellow/Senior Professional Practice Fellow in Dentistry for our Auckland facility. The clinic is an exciting new purpose-built facility, in partnership with Counties Manukau Health, based in South Auckland.

      As a Professional Practice Fellow, you will
      • Help support teaching.
      • Facilitate learning.
      • Assist with assessment.
      • Carry out clinical service requirements.

      Successful candidates will have:
      • Relevant professional dental qualification.
      • Registration with the Dental Council (New Zealand).
      • Appropriate professional experience.
      • Competency across patient management programmes.

      The University of Otago is one of New Zealand’s largest and most research-intensive universities. Founded in 1907, the Faculty of Dentistry is based at the University’s main campus in Dunedin and is the only dental school in New Zealand.

      Our Auckland Dental Facility is a brand-new purpose-built clinic in Manukau, including the very latest dental technology.

      This is a fixed term (to 14 December 2024), part time (0.1FTE, 3.75 hours week or 0.2FTE, 7.5 hours week), semester time only position, located in Auckland.

      Day of work to be negotiated with the successful candidate.

      The successful candidate will be appointed as a Professional Practice Fellow or Senior Professional Practice Fellow, based on skills and experience. The salary range for a Professional Practice Fellow is $75,231 to $98,857. The salary range for a Senior Professional Practice Fellow is $102,270 to $172,69.
